The administrative support to our permanent secretary is very highly recognized, as well as the bilateral membership with all the facilities of ESTRO members with electronic access to the Green journal and the possibility to report on ALATRO activities and publish the proceedings of our meetings, opportunity that for different reasons we have not used but plan to use , the same fees for courses in the region and, for the second time, a full day in Spanish and Portuguese at the Gotemburg meeting.
During this day, organized together the Spanish and Portuguese Radiation Oncology Societies, cervix and prostate cancers will be discussed under the evidence based medicine point of view. We also very highly appreciate the magnificent course on Physics ESTRO presented in Punta del Este last December previous to our first congress. We are very thankful to ESTRO as a booth for ALATRO has been made available during the Gotemburg meeting that will help promoting the Second ALATRO Congress to be held in Cancun, Mexico in June 2009, for which we also need to thank ESTRO for the guidance and support we are receiving .The booth will also help increase our membership.
